Just out of curiosity-- you're applying to a lot of schools around Boston, you say you love Boston and the surrounding area, and you're Jewish--Why aren't you applying to Brandeis?

I’m not applying to Brandeis because I believe that I have little to no chance of getting in. My stats are simply not in range and this would most certainly lead to inevitable rejection. Also, just because Brandeis is named after a Jewish supreme court justice and is known for having a lot of Jewish students, doesn’t mean that every Jewish kid has their heart/mind/body set on applying to and/or going to Brandeis. Also, most people don’t even identify me as Jewish, because my name doesn’t sound Jewish and I don’t partake in a lot of religious practices in Judaism. I celebrate the holidays, but that’s about it..
